Workspace and dispatch problems live in Troubleshooting workspaces.

Sign-in

“Authentication failed.” when signing in Check your network and retry. If you just created the account, confirm your email first (“Check your email to confirm your account before signing in.”) and use Resend confirmation email if needed. Confirmation email never arrives Check spam, wait a minute, then Resend confirmation email. Links expire after 24 hours; request a fresh one if yours is old. Signed out unexpectedly Long-expired sessions require a fresh sign-in. Local workspaces are unaffected.

Provider CLIs

Provider card stuck on “Not installed” Click Install CLI and let Syndicate install it with its bundled runtime. If it fails (“Install failed.”), open the diagnostic modal, use Copy diagnostic, and send it to support. “CLI installed — click Connect to sign in” but Connect seems to do nothing Look for an opened browser window or terminal behind the app. The sign-in continues there; Syndicate auto-detects completion.

Claude

Pasted code rejected (“Invalid code — try again.”) Codes expire in about 15 minutes. Restart Connect and paste the new code promptly. “Claude OAuth endpoint is busy — switching to terminal login.” Not an error: the automatic fallback. Finish signing in inside the terminal window; the card flips to Connected on its own.

OpenAI (Codex)

“This ChatGPT account cannot run Codex.” Your ChatGPT plan does not include Codex. Upgrade the plan or use Claude or Gemini instead. Signed in but card stays “Not connected” Click Check to re-probe. If it persists, Reconnect and complete the terminal flow again without closing the terminal early.

GitHub Copilot

Connect opens a terminal but the card stays “Not signed in” Complete the GitHub sign-in inside the terminal flow (copilot login), then click Check to re-probe. Copilot requires an active plan; the free tier works.

Gemini

Terminal opens but sign-in stalls Complete the Google flow, including two-factor prompts. On macOS the flow uses Terminal.app; bring it to front. If the terminal exited early (“Auth terminal exited with code X before completion.”), close and Connect again.

Mid-session

Amber banner: provider credentials expired Click Reconnect [Provider] in the banner, finish the sign-in, then re-prompt any stopped agents. Queued work is preserved. Models missing from selectors Model lists only include authenticated providers. Check Settings, Providers: the provider must show Connected and a non-empty Models row. Refresh forces a re-check.
